• Fabric – You can use any number of lightweight woven fabrics for the Ivy. I always recommend batiks as they are so wonderful, both in fabric and color variation and they are sturdier against frayed edges. You can make all of your Ivy leaves out of the same fabric but variations in color and design make your creation much more interesting. If you are using 10” squares of fabric, each square will make two of each pattern or six leaves. If you are using 10” squares, each square will make six or leaves, two of each size.
