QUILTWORX.COM would like to welcome you to our Digitized Quilting Designs Online Store! As we continue to build this area of our business, new designers and new patterns by each designer will be added and we will do our best to let you know about them when they are ready for purchase through our newsletter and facebook page. If you are interested in listing your digitized quilting designs for Quiltworx.com patterns on our website, please contact us at digitizeddesigns@quiltworx.com
To find the pattern you are looking for, click on one of the "designer groups" below, then click on the list of quilts that designer has developed digitized designs for. Click on the preferred pattern and you will gain a menu of full designs, plus a "Catch All Category" called All Units to see every item that could work with the quilt you are interested in. Laurie Thomas
Laurie Thomas began digitizing designs for Linda V. Taylor around 2005. If you have used any of the Linda Taylor patterns that come with the Statler, you have used designs that Laurie digitized. She also started teaching the beginning Precision Stitch class at Linda's studio in Texas, and continued digitizing and teaching until late 2007 when she moved to Nevada.

During mid to late 2007, Laurie started getting requests to digitize patterns that weren't available in Linda's collection and eventually created her website as a venue for these designs.

Laurie loves the challenge of creating block specific patterns as well as edge to edge patterns. Her goal is to create patterns that enhance the piecing of the quilt rather than be the first thing people notice about the quilt.

You can find Laurie's website here: http://www.itsaquiltthing.com

Karen Marchetti
The designs included here have been designed by Karen Marchetti. These files are available as UNENCRYPTED files for a wide variety of quilting machines that can read a digitized file.

Karen Marchetti lives in beautiful sunny Southeast Florida with her wonderful husband and their fantastic son. She started quilting in 2003, fell in love with longarming, and opened her business in 2005. It has been an amazing journey - she has met many special people and has been honored to quilt for them.

When Karen isn't quilting for clients, or creating her own competition pieces, she travels with Gammill Quilting Systems as one of their Quilting Artists -- demonstrating the exceptional nature of machine quilting - it is so much more than just stitches, it is truly an art form.

Karen has always loved drawing and painting, and quilting on the Gammill is very similar to both - she draws with thread. Karen loves creating and designing her own quilts, and competes as much as possible. She loves anything and everything creative!

Angela Walters

Angela loves all things related to quilting! She started her quilting career over 10 years ago at the side of her husband's grandpa. He patiently taught her the art of quilting by helping her make her first quilt, a 9 patch quilt that is still on her bed today. A lot has changed since that first quilt! She is still a quilter, of course, but now she can add Author, Quilting Teacher, and Fabric Designer to her resume. She has written several books, including “Free-Motion Quilting with Angela Walters”, “In the Studio with Angela Walters” and the “Free-motion Quilting Workbook” If there is one thing that she loves as much as quilting, it’s talking about quilting. Angela loves to give lectures and teach quilting classes. She also has classes online with Craftsy with the most recent being “Dot to Dot Quilting”. Angela also designs fabric. She has quilted for several books, magazines and publications, and feels that she is so fortunate to have the best customers!

Tammy Doane

Tammy Doane was born and raised in the beautiful state of Montana. In 2010 she moved back to her home state after living in Coloradro and New Mexico for 15 years. After retiring from a 20 year career as a hairstylist and business owner she decided to build a new career and business out of her love and natural talents for quilting and textile arts. At a very young age Tammy was introduced to sewing by both her mother and grandmother. Around the age of 6 she received her very first sewing machine and took her first quilting class several years later in 4-H.

Throughout her career as a hairstylist, Tammy also had the opportunity to share her passion and knowledge of quilting with friends, family and community classes knowing one day she would enjoy teaching regularly. In 2008 Tammy purchased a Gammill long arm with Statler Stitcher and began quilting professionally. After moving back to Montana she had the chance to get to know Judy and instantly fell in love with Judy’s quilting designs and techniques and began working toward her goal of becoming a Certified Instructor for Quiltworx.

Since becoming a Certified Instructor in 2012 she has incorporated her long arm quilting business, Trumble Creek Quilts, LLC, by quilting for Quiltworx and many award winning quilts for her clients. Her newest venture is designing long arm digital designs for Quiltworx patterns.

Tammy has been offering classes and trunk shows in Judy’s own backyard, Montana and Eastern Washington, as Judy became increasingly busy with national and international shows, classes and new ventures for Quiltworx. Tammy has also been a regular instructor for Quiltworx at their retreat center located on beautiful Flathead lake and frequently travels to Arizona for classes in the Phoenix area.

In 2017 Tammy and her husband Brian moved to upstate New York as Brian was offered a publishing position with a newspaper in Canandaigua, NY and is beginning to offer classes and retreats in the area. She is also available to travel anywhere in the United States that may not be covered by another Certified Instructor.

With over 25 years of quilting experience and a passion to share her knowledge and enthusiasm of Judy’s quilts, Tammy offers a classroom setting that is enjoyed by both beginner and experienced quilters.
